Is it right to centralize educational planning in a country?
I am of the opinion that planning education for a country should be left to educational institutions so that each and every institution formulates their own curriculum.

I think any relevant education system should be centralized in planning phase so that the authority involved in planning sets out the relevant course of work.
ReplyDeleteI have not had the chance to confirm the benefits that arise from a decentralized planning system. But a centralized system is very effective in setting out standards and policies from a higher authority.
ReplyDeleteI think that planning should be a government's thing because when institutions are left to plan on their own, then they may end up with an inferior plan that might not be as effective as other people's.
